It’s that fun time of year when many of us celebrate with family, friends, and coworkers. Unfortunately as attorneys who handle criminal defense and personal injury law, we see first-hand some of the negative consequences that come when someone celebrates a little too much and then exercises poor and regrettable judgment by getting behind the wheel of a car. The alarming increase in DUI offenses and alcohol-related issues during the holiday season can be devastating and sometimes permanent.

In our county, there are taxi services available, as well as Uber and Lyft. Our wish is for everyone to have a happy holiday season, and if you have been drinking that you will avoid driving. We don’t want any of the lights you see this season to be from the police or emergency personnel.
